Hi,
Since there's a lot of QQ about Lee Sin in the forums lately, I figured I'd make a post because I think people are confused about how they feel. As a gold 5, and as a sort-of lee sin main (he's my most played champion) I don't really expect many people to be open to what I have to say, but hear me out.
I attached a lolking graph of Lee Sin's winrate in Diamond over the past month or so. It's obvious that even in the highest levels (diamond) Lee's winrate is consistently below average. I would have used challenger but the sample size there is too small.
What I think the problem is, is that people are just tired of seeing him, and rightfully so. He has the highest pickrate according to Lolking at 36%. Compare this to Lee's closest jungle counterpart, Elise, at 6.3%. Every league player and their dog has played Lee Sin. This is not an easy problem to fix. Lee is a fun champion to play, and the only real way to reduce his pick rate is via a meta change(like tanky junglers becoming better, hint hint), or by introducing more fun-to-play champions.
